Just 2 pics if anyone owns a black are a darker colored car (any car for that matter) and wants to see the end results. This was a slow process. probably about a good 10 hour job all together, but hey, its only once every 6 months or so for me. It was well worth it. Pics are on page 3 on my website, the last two at the bottom.

Thanks! Far as i know there the stock ones. I looked underneath where the middle piece is supposed to be and it looked like the had been disconnected or neatly ripped off. I think it looks pretty good like that though.http://www.cardomain.com/id/y87inside

quote:
What do the claybars do? I have no idea what you are all talking about!

You can get a claybar kit at any car parts store. It's a special piece of clay for detailing and a small bottle of quick detailing spray. What you do is spray a spot on the car and then rub the clay back and forth over that spot. But you have to make sure to keep it lubricated or it leaves marks. What it does is it takes out all the embedded crap in the paint that washing can't do. Then when you're done claying you might want to polish it, but you must wax it afterwards because the claybar takes off the wax too. If you do all that you should have a very clear shiny car.Black \'97 Camaro w/ CAI, catback

How big of a difference do you think it would make on a new black Camaro? I've always heard about stuff like rail dust, but is it really that bad on a new car?Black 2002 Camaro M5-SS takeoff muffler, B&M Ripper, K&N Filter, 35/20% tint, Infinity speakers, Viper alarm, perpetually breaking clutch return spring mod. 15.49@90.15
Pewter 2002 Firebird M5 (Dad\'s Car)
