Hi, yes I read that but im scared to wet sand. Can i just use a rubbing combound to disolve/remove it using a brush?

Use Michelle's method, I did it to mine and it came out as perfect as hers did. I was a little worried too but it came out great.

However it took me a good 45 minutes of 1500 grit to get it looking good.

yeah, i used 2000 grit sandpaper and it took about 30-40 minutes to take the emblem off. then i used 3M's fine cut rubbing compound to shine the panel back out. it took me about 6-7 coats of the rubbing compound to get it completly done. it looks great now though.
