Ok first of all I know this has been a recently discussed to death topic, but I did a search and read every freggin topic on it and none answered my question So anyway, I've got nothing to do for spring break and not alot of money so I'm going to paint my interior. What brand of primer/paint/clear coat is recomended for interior painting? The only brand that has been mentioned is dupicolor but I'm probably going with black so I'm not sure if some special paint is necissary. Are there any brands to stay away from? I want quality stuff, I figure even with expensive stuff it won't be over $30 so whatever is fine. I want a color that doesn't stand out, just accentuates (lol, look at me and my big words) so I'm thinking just a really shinny black but possibly silver, like this car Any opinions?

Dupilcolor or any enamel type paint is the best way to go...5 bucks a bottle...as opposed to 1 buck...get what you pay for in my opinion...Dupicolor filler primer is good, Whatever color Duplicolor paint...and Duplicolor primer...might need about 2 bottles or cans of each...that'll get you right at 30 bucks...plus lots of sand paper...espically if u don't want the stock texture and wand more of a smooth finish

I dunno who you'd make mad about your opinion on the subject...sine you capitalized yellow...I'm gonna assume your directing that towrads me..if not...doesn't matter...point is...most people who do anything at all the customize there car weither it be performance wise or apperance wise don't really give a rat *** about other peoples opinion..not try to dog you or anything..your entitled to your opinion...but it is just that an opinion. but thats my 2 cents...anyone that wants to customize there camaro or bird or any car for that matter should always go by the simple rule...do what you think looks good..5 people could hate my yellow interior, 30 could love it...but love it or hate it...all that matters is my love for it.
You can't make everyone happy..but when it comes to your car..don't worry bout make everyone happy..just you. In other words if u look @ a color and think hey that'll look cool..but everyone is like don't do bright colors ITS TACKY!!...watever...do what you want..your car..your the one whos gonna have to live /w it

yeah orange with a yellow interior does sound pretty nasty
if i was you bri, i would go with the silver, the car in that pic looked pretty sweet
lemme know if u have any questions about doing it, i did mine before too
i'm actually thinkin about changing mine from red to silver when it gets warmer here, including the decals on the exterior of the car

although my car is parked in the garage seeing how it has been above freezing like 4 days out of the last 90, I just used Krylon Primer, Krylon RED (yeah... one of those bright ugly colors), and Clear Coat. Like I said, I am not sure how long it is going to hold up, but I am happy with the results for my inexperienced self. hey guys
maybe it's just me......but isn't this picture http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...87_40_full.jpg
a little fishy???
to me it looks like a black and whitee pic, w/ a color shifter ball superimposed onto the pic.
the last time i checked....my dash gauges had some orange in them, and weren't all white. so i don't know if that pick is that true of a representation of what the final product would look like. let me know what u guys think.mods:
-under hood ram air hood mod.
-cat back Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system (exact kit designed for our cars)
-Sylvania Silverstar Headlamp conversion (home job...but came out awesome)
-interior under dash neons

Yes I noticed that too. You are right...for some reason they converted to black and white except the shifter knob. Notice the needles have no color as well as the gauges and radio area like you said ;)
And Yes that's Beastly T/A's car.
