Ok I need to get the swirls out of my paint cause it looks like crap. After reading about the polish and rubbing compound, I have decided to go with the rubbing compund, cause I want the swirls gone! So I am going to turn it over to the pros on this one, and I was just curious about how much it is gonna cost me to have it done! Thanx

go to tropi-care.com and check out the porter cable d.a. youll be able to cut the swirls out of your paint and make it shine oh so nicely. plus, for the price of the kit, which is 140$, you can always do it again incase you get swirls again. you proly will pay around 150$ for a pro job. also, there is no way, absoultely no way, to mess up your paint with the porter cable.

man before I compounded the entire car I'd just wax it really well. I have spoken with a guy that prof. paints cars and he said that compound screws up the clear coat. So be careful

I don't know about screwing up the clear coat, but it is an abrasive and depending on how aggressive the rubbing compound you are using is will determine how much clear coat it will take off.
