Well,
I happened to nab me a 95 Camaro with the 3.4L and the worst headlamps I have ever seen.
After seeing some painful looking shortcuts with the factory headlamps, I lobbed Daniel Stern Lighting an e-mail (you can google for his page) and here's what came from him.
Well, I'll give you all the meat, since neither of us have nice things to say about the four lamp system, since Sylvania designed it to be an EIGHT (8) lamp set-up or non-clear bulbs. It beats using driving lights, too. Of course, if you use them and it works, so be it.

Daniel mentioned this way is somewhat pricey, but come on, reusing factory housings? Yowsers. 825 lumens from a $20 phony blue tinted bulb stuck in a crummy factory housing that will burn out sooner than you want or 2600 lumens from these for $15 each? 3/4ths the cost for over 3x the light? Yeah, tough call.
Glad to be here, maybe this helps someone, but gotta save up and get my DOHC 3.4L swap ready, or maybe it will just be the aluminum headed OHVer that I will swap in. The factory OHVer is in pieces as it is. V8 and being a contortionist for a spark plug change isn't an option and the Ranger has an 8 plug 4 cylinder already....
Good day.
