  • pewter rs with black flames.

I've been thinking about getting some black flames airbrushed on my car, up in front...does anyone have a picture of a pewter fbody with black flames on it so I can get some kind of idea what it'll look like in the end? I want them to fade to greyish cdolors and look sweet.

it's good both ways paint may shines a little more but chips and such and is permanent.

              vinyl is Much cheaper
it is easily removed if you want a different design
plus you can get different colors and such and you can put them on EXACTLY how you want them.

paint looks 10X better and you can do way more with it.

vinal is a cheap alternative, and will not suit for what most are looking for. sorry but imo, vinal graphics seldom work on fbodys.

Eh, I think vinyl is the way to go, at least at first because you can lay out what you want and remove it if you don't like it. Paint is there permanantly and is extremely costly. I have custom paint and I'd like more done to it, but there is only 1 shop that I'm stuck with that will be able to match the colors up. It's already cost me some big $$$ and I'm paranoid that it's going to get chipped, scratched, ect. AND I'm stuck with what I have for while until I decide to get something else done. Paint looks awesome, but vinyl is the way to go. Look at all of the f-bodies with vinyl stripes. They look great! Besides, some vinyl can be airbrushed and looks like paint anyway.

Well, if you get somebody to hit you ... then painting becomes a lot cheaper. Make sure the estimate is from the highest place and then find a good local painter

Not black flames but this could give you an alternative.

Exactly, these folks act like the stock stripes that come on our cars are not vinyl.

I like both. If you've got big cash, go with paint(only! if you know what you want)

Vinyl is fun and pretty easy. if some one hits you on the side, it would cost no more than $150 to get your sides(both) redone. paint on the other hand, COME ON...

It's your car though man, have fun with it and do what you want! by the way looks good
