Leather hurst shift knob from stock T56, will it fit hurst M5?

Not sure. But if you want a knob just like the Hurst one, the leather knob from a late-model Mustang works and is cheap on eBay. Only it has the 5-speed pattern instead of a big H.

This will fit my hurst comp shifter? I once knew the thread size, I thought it was something like XX-20 or something like that. What years of mustang should I be looking for? Just the stock knob right?M5, posi, headers-3\"hooker catback, spec2, alum DS, whisper lid & K&N, hurst, eagle 077s w/kumho supras, subframes, 3point stb, trans hatch

I have the Hurst Billet Plus but it should be the same thread size as your Comp Plus, M12x1.75
The stock Fbody thread size is M16x1.5
Just about any late-model Mustang, mine came off an '03, not sure about the '05's though.
