i got in trouble fo them. i dont' know if they are illegal or not. but when i got in troble i also had underglow lights, etc on my neon. so the guy could have just been nickpicking. but i did fight the ticket and i won.

Nice job painting, but I don't like the red. It doesn't match anything else on the car. Did you take pics of the calipers in pewter? It would be interesting to compare.Comment

no i didn't. trust me when i say ewwww! red runs good cause all my suspenion is red, and under my hood is red(check out my car domain) plus red is the one color that will go with any car no matter what. it's bold and a nice eye catcher.WAWA-A-HOLIC

alsome. i just used high temp paint from autozone. not the crappy stuff i know it was a name brand but i can't remember off the top of my head. i know it was called, "ford red" hehe!WAWA-A-HOLIC

you can buy a brake caliper paint at autozone for like 15-20 bucks.. comes with cleaner paint scrubber and a brush. What I used on my car..

you'll be able to get it smooth by hand it'll just take you forever and lots of sand paper especially in those grooves.Comment

yes i used 1 coat of primer, 3 coats of red, and 1 coat of clear coat.WAWA-A-HOLIC
