  • 06 corvette bumper on a camaro?

Would this look too ridiculous? i mean the quarter panels are very similar, and the hatch can be made to work. but would it look ok?

I think it'd look retarded, not to mention that it most likely wouldn't fit.

heres a photoshop mock up... i think it would look good with the quarter panel being flared out more than a regular corvette.

I'm not into the "big butt" look on the back of the Camaro but it looks ok I guess..

If it came out like the photoshop with the hatch working I would be impressed with the work. I just don't understand why you would want to spend all that money and have a slow car that looks fast from behind.

Eh, I dunno. It's sorta like creating a Frankenstein. It doesn't look too bad, but I think you should leave the corvette look to the corvette's. Just My Opinion...

The same guy who did the whistler headlight mod also did a C5 style berger panel. Its really cool looking, but I don't have the link for it.

If Loochy wants to chime in, I beleive he sent me the link to begin with.

I tihnk if is worked it right it would come out to look awesome.

as for the car being fast... i's say my engine is fast enough... i avhe an lt1 in it and soon its gunna be a 355 supercharged or 396 n/a.

So it would avhe the balls, an original style rear end, and a few goodies here and there.

Plus not to mention it would have a full body kit on the sides and front molded into the car so it wouldn't look like a fat back end it would go pretty smoothly with teh car.

I just happened to find a picture online that i could photoshop the rearend onto easily so taht why theres no body kit in there, plus the car is black.

On another note i think the money wouldn't be that much. a back bmper for a corvette with lights would probably be expensive like in the 5 grand range, but doing all the work with teh quarters to make it work myself i would be able to accomplish it in less than a year i tihnk.
