Does it actually go over the existing plastic on the a-pillar or do you take the existing plastic off and replace it with the a-pillar pod?

And what would be the best size to get? the 5/8 or 1/16??

i have a 3 gauge piller that goes on top. i'm sure that it could take the place of it. but since i don't have t tops (the the present moment) i moded it up to fit my car. since they only make them for t tops. check out http://www.egauges.com/

Just trying to understand ... I have a convertible and it is easy to remove the A-pillar. Is the color the same with the rest of the interior? room? How are you running the wires?

        Thanks in advance

i replace the hole pillar with it

          2 reasons

mor room for guages and wires and it was 10x easier to install... also those crappy clips get old after you remove them a few times..... now i only have on screw holding the thing up and it fits almost perfect........ the littel round thing for the heater vent dont fit very well. well not at all.... i just cut the old one off
