theyve been painted about three weeks, and i havent noticed them getting too grubby.... not noticeably anyway. i washed them down last time i washed my car. i did notice they are starting to yellow in one spot, just a little bit, but i think the paint was a little thin there... need another coat. dont have any pics yet, ill try to get one to post... maybe tonight if i can find the adapter for my digital.

btw, i was going to do the white wheels and do a blue racing stripe and paint my calipers to match the stripe..... but after lots of thought, i just decided to ditch the idea of the stripe and match my calipers to the car body instead of just using a random color. if i ever get a color scheme going, i'd go with white powder coated rims and a matching accent for the calipers.

did you just do coats of white high temperature paint, and coats of clear coat, and i know this isn't the right forum but is putting degreaser on the wheels and using a brush enought to clean the calipers and rear drum brakes?

if you have grease and oil on them then yeah... mine was mostly rust. took the drums of and banged them lightly with arubber mallet and then used a wire brush to polish them up a bit. the from calipers were pretty clean.... just pull your rotors off and wrap your inner fender well with plastic, tape it off and paint the calipers right there. i used 1500 degree high temp paint... didnt bother with clear coat... might help, though im not sure its necessary. i like the look... the white is different than any other painted brakes that ive seen. and it sets the otherwise base silver rims off nicely. and if you decide you dont like it, acts as a good primer to whatever color you decide to put behind your white rims. not sure i would do both in white though... but i am getting a set of white leather seat covers. :D
