Oh no, not Z1! You'll have to wait forever between coats of polish. The ZFX is much faster, unless of course you already know this and have lots of spare time on your hands

What do you mean about Z1, do you have to let it sit on the car for a while? How long, and don't you only have to use it the first time and maybe every once in a while after that? After I wipe it off and use the Z6 can't I polish the car right after that?
I heard that the longer the polish sits on the car, (3 hours or even over night) the better job it does, is that right?

The more coats of polish you apply the better the result. The folks at Zaino Bros. say you have to let the polish cure between coats. From their application FAQ

quote:
7. After removal of Zaino Z-2 or Z-5.
You should wait 24 hours if the outside temperature is under 70 degrees and 6 hours if over 70 degrees, before applying the next coat of Z-5 or Z-2.

Their new ZFX product actvates the polish to make it cure much quicker so you don't have to wait as long between coats.
The blurb for ZFX

quote:
Using ZFX™ in place of Z-1™ Polish Lok will reduce drying time, increase gloss factor, extend durability level, and instantly cure to allow multiple immediate coats! No more waiting between coats!

I can usually get 3 coats on in an afternoon using ZFX.
