hey, i would like to have my interior accented red (like on the vents and certain areas) anyone have any pictures or ideas on how you'd have this done? I don't want to do spray paint, something a little better.

here's a pic of mine, and don't mind that ugly guy in the drivers seat... but i sanded and spray painted mine and they turned out pretty good...

another thing you might try instead of sanding and painting, is using that new krylon paint that requires no sanding or prepping, that might work?

Here's my camaro's interior...alot of people think its over kill...but i'm not even close to being done yet.

If you don't want to use spray paint...get a paint gun and a pint of enamel and a pint of clear coat....and of course a compressor and lots of sand paper...

I spray painted mine and it came out really well, everyone who rode with me thought I bought new pieces. I remember someone on here took theirs to a body shop and had them professionally done, I'm sure that looks really really good, but will be 10x as much as spray paint. I used primer, duplicolor paint and duplicolor clear coat and they came out pretty damn good imo.

i like the way the krylon fusion paint worked. i used it on my a/c vents and it's still looking great. my center console lid got messed up tho. the paint never dried, even tho i gave each coat 24 hrs. to set. i think it was because it had armor all soaked up into it, and seeped out when i painted it. i'll either get a new one, or re-paint it and see what happens.

I used an interior plastic paintspray after printed vinyl came off in heat.(You can't buy any stock bits here in UK). Excellent stuff but the red is a bit bright. (If I knew how to attach a photo I would, anyone ??)

I got them from Coverking, not cheap...but not expensive either...199.95 for the front seats..199.95 for the rear..choices of either neoperne or vinyl, small selection of colors...but most major choices there.

I use to have my vents painted red. SOmeone did them on the car before me, and I just redid them. After having them on for so long, it just makes the car feel so cheap and corny. I had to paint mine black again. I think the total # of times painted on my vents come to 6 times. LOL
