How do you think classic door handles, grill, gauges, steering wheel, possibly even classic looking tail or headlights, etc. from classic Camaros would look on a 4th Gen Camaro? I'd like to be able to do things like classic chrome bumber guards, but I don't think it would look right on a 4th gen. I've already gotten started putting some classic emblems on my 94.

I wanted to do a retro theme with my 99 when I first got it. In fact, I posted about two years ago on here asking to see if the classic steering wheel would fit. I wanted to put in the 3 spoke steering wheel with the 1st gen Camaro logo on the passenger airbag pad and replace the center console with the first gen style that had 2 gauges in the center. The center console was going to have to be rethought as to make one that would fit would require a custom fabbed console.
Now, admittedly I wasn't going as far as you are. My modifications concentrated strictly on the interior. I kinda like the minimal badging and such on the exterior of my 99. Much to my surprise I find a few people asking me what my car is because there are no logos except the lettering between the tailights and the small emblem on the nose.
The classic Camaro steering wheel has the same spline pattern as our 4th gen. I know this because all the 4th gen owners with custom steering wheels get a Grant adapter kit that fits a 69-89 Camaro.
The reason you cant find adapters for 90+ Camaros is because of the airbags. The government makes it illegal for merchants to advertise custom steering wheels and products for airbag equipped vehicles. But the spline pattern remains the same. Now, as to what you will encounter as far as mounting depth, etc. is still unknown to me.
