I had my windows tinted a couple months ago and like everybody else, I am sure, the tint didn't really stick on the dot matrix section of the rear window. Just want to know what you've guys done to fix that. The guy who tinted my windows told me that he could put black vinyl in that section but before I do that I wan't to know if there are any other options. Also, does it look good? any pics?
Thanks.
mine did the same thing...i thought about putting black vinyl on mine but then i looked at the rest of the rear window. there is like a border around it already and it isn't as black as the vinyl would be so i thought it would look weird. so i ditched the idea and i mean its not like it grows on you and you start liking it or anything..you just learn to deal with the way it looks and just ignore it. iv'e seen a few other camaro's and firebird's with the same problem. that dot matrix really sux.

i had them cut a line around the dot matrix, so it isnt tinted where the dotmatrix lies. it really makes it look a lot cleaner, i have a picture somewhere, just search for tint in this section, ive posted on here before.

that's normally what good tint shops do.

I cut around my dot matrix and my solar wing sorta hides most of it but I still want to add a black vinyl strip but it doesnt have to be immediately.
