    Hey Rick M., I've always liked that hood and was planning on getting it. Just curious where you bought it from, the "actual" name of the hood, and how much it cost you to buy/paint it. Also, do you know if they make any active ram air ones? Or are they all pretty much just for show.

    btw, I think it would look good with the cowl painted another color than the hood.

        Well, the name of the hood is a Big Block hood. Cost to paint it, I dunno, it was on the car when I bought it. A lot of places sell it and most of 'em are about 410 bucks. And they're all pretty much just for show because it's a cowl-type hood, but I think it works as a heat extractor too and keeps the engine bay cooler.

          Jack - great job cleaning up your engine bay.

          all, ive got a white bird identical to whiteshark, gonna be putting white leather upholstry in and have a few blue accents outside. any suggestions on painting my interior trim. im thinking white center console and gauge bezel.

              which foglights do you have in the nose of your car? i like that setup, looks sharp. i havent been able to find any to fit as well as yours.

                  I had factory fog lights that I didn't like so I was looking around for some too. I actually found them at AutoZone, and were only $15.

                      Thanks, it is definately a labor of love. The car has 103k miles on it, and it is very hard to keep it looking that good. Well, it is easier now that it lives it's life in a garage.

                            Looks great Perry, really great!!! You replaced the front and rear clip on a 97 for a 98+?
