Just wanted to show what I did to my intake. I will send more when it is done. I wasn't sure if this should go in the engine or appearance, but here it is...

Hey thanks. I have a silver 95 Camaro and have burgandy stripes to put on. So the block is going to be silver with the burgandy intake. I hope it will look nice.

I saw your car on your site, and shot you an email. Nice car.

Yeah I am going to get those chrome caps for the bolt heads. They are a bit pricey, but they look great.

With the paint, I couldn't find any high temp (1200°) for it so I used some moderate temp paint and clear coat for it (500°C). I have a friend that is trying to find a place to mix some burgandy high temp here in Germany. I did find some high temp for the block though.

Like I said, I will post pics when it is done, should be in a week or two.

I still do my best! ;)
At the moment it looks like germans only want yellow, red and green blocks/calipers/intakes...

Birdman... you could use alot of caliper paint if you want. I used some high temp 'rattle can'. There is a wider selection of colors with spray paint. The prollem with the spray paint is that it usually not as high temp as caliper paint, but I don't think that my intake will ever get to 500°C, unless the engine is on fire, in which case I think that I would be f$^#ed anyway. Hope this helps.

Wow, green. Why didn't I think of that? Maybe a teal?

Thanks rt1. How much trouble is it to take the intake off.

Just the intake? I don't know, never did that before. Maybe someone else has. I know it's pretty easy when the engine is out though. I am doing this work along with a rebuild, so I have access to just about everything. I mean it's out, it should be painted.
