It varies by state... in Michigan, they have to be amber unless it's part of the taillight, then it can be red. So right now, my clear corners with the clear bulb inside is illegal. the LEDs for the gauges are easy. pop off the cluster, pull the whole thing out. get some bright white LEDs (194) and replace all 8. then you get the gauges like mine, even the turn signals are light blue, and everything is brighter.
as for the odometer, idk.. i kinda like the way it looks.

They're clear until you turn on your turn signals; it's safer to have amber turn signals versus white in the front anyway. The clear turn signals right next to the clear headlights are kind of difficult to see, which is why I'm still looking for the right bulb.

i got a red buld above my plate and red gauges, its awsome, i also have blackouts, let me tell you HOW it Is legal.........you can have headlight blackouts if you have foglights, rear blackouts if you have a third brakelight(standard on a camaro), and either BLUE or RED above your plate....OLNY if it isnt a blinking light-that is impersonating a police officer.........i DONT have headlight covers by the way ,they jus dont look right on a 98-02 camaro if the color is any other than black-mine is pewter<-tha prettiest LOL
oh yea PLEASE DON"T EVER PUT STREETGLOW UNDER A CAMARO, leave that to tha imports and mustangs lol
mike h- I saw the same thing on a civic. My ex and I were driving behind it and when he hit the breaks it was white in the day time and we hardly could see it on a white car. Almost rear ended him.
