As i have put in previous posts i am getting 18" Z06 wheels. They are high polish aluminum. When they are clean they look like chrome. What is the best polish to buy for making them BLING! A friend told me about this stuff found at truck stops that truckers use, i think it is like eagle 1's cotton stuff but pink in color?? I have used turtle wax and blue magic nd they worked fine. That eagle one stuff that is like cotton SUCKS!! Let me know what you gys use? Thanks

Once you get them polished up nice, seal them with a good coat of wax and keep a coat on there. There's this stuff called Zoopseal that's supposed to be great for keeping wheels shiny but I forgot the website. It's about $130 so it's not cheap but it's good stuff I hear.1995 Nissan Hardbody King cab XE, 5-speed, 4 banger
Looking for the right Camaro...

I would suggest investing in some Mothers Billet Polish (15.00 or so at your local Pep Boys etc) then once they are nice and polished use some zoopseal. If you want to go crazy with it....use the zoopseal and some wax.99 Firebird (Blue)
-custom graphics
-Blue neon undercarriage
-SLP Ram Air Intake
-Alpine IVA-C801 LCD screen
-Power Accoustik PADVD-50 DVDplayer
-2 12\" JLAudio Comps- 12w3\'s
-Kenwood Excelon component speakers
-Xtant A6001 & A4004 Amps
-Tinted Windows
-17x9 Amercian Racing Longboards
-painted blue interior

I bought a little tub of mothers metal polish for like 4.50 at Advanced. We dont have pep boys around here. What is this zoopseal i keep hearing about? One guy said it was expensive, where can you get it?

I use Zaino. Its fairly pricey, but its better than anything else I have ever seen, and my bird's paint is pretty much abused. Always outside, always in rain and Texas sun, not washed very often, etc.
However, I have found that a small piece of the zaino clay bar with soapy water is perfect for removing brake dust from the wheels. In fact, it works better than any spray-on brake cleaner, and Ive tried them all, without success. I use Zaino on my chromed aluminium wheels, and it does a good job at not only protecting the finish, but it also helps to keep brake dust from sticking too the wheels, since zaino is so good at preventing contaminant bonding to it. This makes future cleanings easy as well.Property of Dave Hamburger

So how much does this Zaino stuff cost?http://members.cardomain.com/99gatorbird
99 Ram Air V6, 18\" Z06 Rims, WS6 Ram Air Style Hood and Lower airbox, Center Force Dual Friction, 3.42 GM Gears, Zexel-Torsen LSD, Free Mods, Dynomax Ultra Flow, Custom Interior, Several Decals from firebats cave
9/14/03
1/8- 10.45 @ 66.72
(I know i can do better)

www.zainobros.com
You will need the following:
Zaino Clay Bar
Z1
Z2
Z5
And thats probably about it for starters. I think I spend around $30 for my first zaino kit.
You should note that the clay bar actually includes 2 little bars. I am only just now needing the second bar, and its been almost a year and a half since I bought it. Same for my Z1 and Z2 and Z5.
For your wheels, just tear off a small bit of the clay bar, and use THAT to clean your wheels. Not a piece bigger than a quarter.Property of Dave Hamburger

I went to Advanced Auto. And the they had some mothers aluminum polish. After polishing this left a black residue on the rag, but almost made the rims look worse? Is that Billet Aluminum polish different? In my original post I was talking crap about eagle one never dul. That stuff that looks like cotton. I used it about 2 years ago on some del sol rims, and it made them look like crap. Well i still assumed the stuff sucked. So a lot of people replied that stuff really worked good for them. So after i tried mothers mag and aluminum polish, and it made the rims look worse. I decided what the Heck i will try this nevr-dul one more time. Oh my goodness the rims LOOK better than the day i took them out of the box. So i definitely will keep using it still, gonna try that stuff that has a polish and a seperate sealer for like 12.95 a bottle on that website. So thanks for all the help.

I love Mother's polish! Did you buff it with a CLEAN rag after you got the black stuff to appear?
