    which rims?!?!?

    Ok ive got 18" c5s right now and i love them but Tires cost waaaaaaay too much for me and i just want something different i guess.. I am going to go with 17" wheels... so whatever wheel, it has to be available in 17" and also, i think im going to go with chrome. no polished wheels!!

    I am thinking about chrome 17" C6's or chrome 17" ZR1s, what do u guys think?

    im going to get wider tires so they will hav a bit of a lip on them. i wil be selling my current rims so if anyone is interested. once i get my new rims these ones will go into the boxes t be shipped off. [img]smile.gif[/img] ok post away thanks all!

        Does American Racing offer their TT2's in chrome? All I can find are polished. Only thing in chrome I could find that are close to the TT2's are 17" wheels made by Replica wheels at TireRack.com

          i think im gona get 17"x8.5" c6 chrome.... its just my style... my gf likes them too (the real reason im getting them) and tires cost 100 bucks a pop! THATS HALF WHAT I PAY RIGHT NOW!!!! lol anyways.... the rims go for 850 on ebay so im gona jump on em i think... damn thats a lot of cash but hopefully someone will buy my c5s [img]smile.gif[/img]

            btw what would be the flushest fitting tire for 8.5" wide? 265? 255? i want a lip so would 275 be too wide? i want a nice looking lip so yeah, and what sidewall should i go with? 40-45? thanks

                  there IS a small section with minor rash from this 2 inch curb... i will be including tires too. ill get back to you on a price... right now im thinking that since this ebay auction for a new set of rims and tires goes for 1590 shipped, I can take 930 shipped for everything listed above... the tires have decent tread, im not good with predicting mileage but another 4-6 months of normal daily driving? they still look good not bald looking, but ill send pix after i take shots tomarrow, and remember, they have been babied an INSANE amount lol.... ill make sure and clean off all the brake dust remaining before i ship them off and give them a good coating of wax... once u commit to the purchase i can buy my other rims... let me know if ur still interested! thanks. email me at hduncan@duncanmail.com

                      ok here are the pix of my wheels on cardomain, they are very dirty mind you, i garuntee that any blemishes u might see are just dirt and stuff, i saw some lines that looked like cracks but they were just dirt and water that had ben spun out from the centrifugal(spelling?) force of the wheel.. like i said they will be cleaned up all nice and pretty before shipping.. and the tires as you can see are in great shape with quite a bit of tread left.. im putting these in the for sale forum incase u dont want them. but youve got first dibs!
