  • Where to get chrome lug nut covers for '02 Camaro

I'd like to change my black lug nut covers to chrome but all I can find so far is the lugnut/cap set at SLP. Don't really want to buy 20 new lug nuts just to get the caps. They also have the old style with indent but I'd like to stick with the style shown in SLP #82555. My local GM dealer says that chrome was never offered so I was wondering if someone knows of another source.

they are no chrome caps. The caps are plastic. You can get a set of chrome lugs like you said, but not caps

Sorry, didn't read your post closely.

I had the same dilemma. I have the nice chrome wheels but with the stupid black lug caps. So I was out in the driveway washing and thinking, then I looked over at my winter car (96 Pontiac Bonneville) and what do I see? Chrome lug nut caps with aluminum wheels? What the heck is wrong with Pontiac? Needless to say I swapped the caps real quick. WOW! What a difference! Maybe you can order these from your local dealer? Worth a try.

I also want to upgrade to the plastic lugnut caps, but its too expensive for a set. Besides, I havea bout 60 of the black, plastic caps, so I am going to try and get the ones I have vacuum metallized, thats the process that puts the chrome like finish on plastic. For what it would cost me to metallize 60 lugnut caps, is far less than it would cost me to replace all 60 of mine with ones from slp.
