I'm removing the side molding on my camaro.
Im using fishing line to "cut" it off, but half of the double sided tape sticks to my car still and its making my fingers blister when i rub it off. I tried to used some bur and tar remover but that dont really work,
Are there any other ideas on how to get the rest of this tape off??

I used a couple plastic spoons and some WD-40. DON'T let the WD-40 sit too long on your paint, but spray some on the glue, let sit for a second, then scrape off with a credit card, Block Buster card would be good like JVT said or I used plastic spoons. It should come right off. IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME AND EFFORT to get all the crap off of your car, but take your time. I had blisters on my fingers also, but It's worth it after you get all the glue off. GOOD LUCK!
alright, i did it and it came out great, but my only problem is that there is a small black like sorta like a outline of were the molding used to be... i tried bug and tar remover to get it off but it wont go away...
How can i get this nast line off?
Will alittle rubbing compound get it off?
