HELP which wires to use for indiglo gauges

i have a reverse indiglo gauge kit and everything torn apart for install my problem is there are like 8 wires coming out of the headlight selector switch which on is the power which is a ground they are diffrent colors i have no way of telling also some are bigger the others which ones do i use i just need a power to headlights and a ground HELP

I wired my power up to the yellow wire and my ground to the black.

sounds right, use a voltage tester to try it. if it doesnt work, tape the wire back up and try another. this is a double post by the way, the other one will be moved to electronics.
