Wow...it looks great! Isn't it funny how you can get your black car to look scratch free RIGHT after a wash, but...after driving a block down the backend is filty again...
I'm rather amused at how you keep your front end so chip free....mine's speckled white from those damn rock chips...and then when the last owner waxed it...yeah, it shows up white, and Im trying desperately to get rid of them!

Thanks man. And actually, I have a few chips myself, but I do not drive on gravel at all anymore. Did the first month I owned the car and that's where they all came from. Not any more though.
As for the white from the wax, what all have you used to try and get rid of it? Where does it turn white at?

Well, I purchased the car used, but it was in exceptional condition, especially for what I paid for it, but the guy who owned it in Ohio must've had a town like mine, because there were little rock chips/bug stain looking things on the front bumper, especially the area directly to the left and right of the front license plate area, and near the headlights.
I'm assuming someone waxed the car, and the white wax filled in those little chips, and never have been able to come out.
I've tried the Turtle Wax Color Cure, and it does a FAIRLY decent job making them look less visible, although they are still quite prominent.
And I never drive on gravel if I can help it, but the roads in my town suck...I pity the Corvette owners.

Really? Mine just looks like a car that ran thorugh a cornfield, into a ditch, down a embankment, through a timberyard, over a hill, into grandmothers house, over the big bad wolf and then was sent thorugh the car wash at the gas station

Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
