WS6 Apperance Mod

Has anyone one this board completed a "full" WS6 apperance mod to include front bumper,rear bumper,side skirts,wheels 17", rear hatch with spoiler, and all emblems?

And if so how hard was it on a scale of 1 to 10 ?

I have a salavge yard with all the parts in the correct midnight blue of my bird just wondering what was entailed in this transformation from a mechanical stand point.

are you talking about the 96-97 or 98-up ws6's? you realize they made formula ws6's so all you would really need is the hood and wheels. just make sure you don't badge it as a ws6. i've got the suncoast ws7 badge on mine.

What you are describing is a T/A conversion, not WS6.

T/A - front and rear bumper covers, rocker panel covers, rear hatch with uplevel wing.

WS6 - Ram Air hood, 17" wheels

Whatever you do, DO NOT put on the T/A or WS6 badges!

I already have on the T/A rear bumper, and will be putting on the rocker panel covers soon. But I will not put on the T/A front bumper.

Mine is a 99 firebird that I was wanting to look excatly like a WS6 Trans Am of the same year.I know I will need the hood and rear hatch/spoiler but I also like the looks of the bumper covers of the Trans Am..

Why will you not put on the front bumper?
Is it just you dont like the look or is it just a pain in the *&^*^ ????

I think the reason for not putting a trans am front bumper on is because if he does, everyone will think he has a trans am and want to race him, but under that hood is our all mighty 200hp 3.8 V6, not a 325hp LS1. He doesn't want to be a poser.

i've seen a couple of formula WS6's and they look pretty good. i think the firebird front end looks good w/ the hood. i still perfer the trans am, but it's not worth getting all new body parts to look like a t/a WS6 when all you need is the hood and wheels.
