Alright, theres a few sections on my car that have touch up paint that i wanna remove.
I want to wet-sand it just so the touch up paint is gone, but im not sure how.
Can anyone help me?
What grit sandpaper do i use?
Do i just soak the sandpaper in water then sand the area down?
And what do i do after i wet-sand the area?
Do i have to use rubbing compound on it? or just put some wax on?

I wetsanded my tail-filler. I used 2000 grit w/ a hose constantly trickling water on the filler as I rubbed away. I finished it off about 6 applications of 3M Fine-Cut Rubbing Compound.
I got all that info from Michelle, However I'm not sure if this is good for the paint itself.

3M products will work fine for all...
u will have swirl marks .. sometimes wax can get it all off... its up to u .. just tellin u the professional way to do it.
If you wetsand your touchup spots it's not going to do anything. And your going to have to touch it up again. 1000-1500 fine grit sand paper will be fine. 3M Rubbing Compound will work. I don't think it matters if it's fine or medium, both will get the job done. The compound will take care of the rest but if the chips where you touched up went through the base (which they probably did, other wise why would you touch them up?) then it's not going to do a whole lot. Just makesure you don't burn through the paint trying to get the stuff out. IMO I would leave it alone, you'll probably do more harm then good.
I know i shouldnt touch it, but its a horrible eye sore. The person that had the car before me did it and its like they put the paint on the scratch, and like 1/4inch around the scratch, it makes my car look horrible. I just want to sand down the touch up paint alittle

If you're using the 1500-2000 grit sandpaper then you will want to use the fine-cut compound. The medium cut rubbing compound is the deeper scratches that are caused by coarser grit sandpaper
