probably less than a week ago someone was talking about putting T/A spoiler on firebird. Just run a quick search or just look through posts for about 1 week. Actually it might have been in two parts.

I tried searching and couldn't find it.. Sounds like a cool idea though. I'll probably try that now too.

So how many parts of 93-97 firebirds can be replaced with 98+ style firebird and t/a parts? I just recently damaged the front passanger side of my car. To make a long story short, I'm going to have to replace the side panel, the passenger side headlight, the whole front bumper, and the hood. I know probably not, but since i'm not sure i'll ask.. Would it be possible to replace the whole front end with newer 98+ style body parts? Do they bolt on in the same places? I know it's a stupid question, but damn, that would be cool..
      (As u can see.. i'm a rookie =P )

So far i know that the honeycombs can be installed, which i'm going to do, but anything else?

The 93-present Trans Am spoilers will fit the 93-present Firebirds and can be found at various on-line salvage yards for about $400 not including shipping...try www.speedautomotive.com. The only thing that changed on the 98 and up are the front ends and the little fake air vents on the front fenders. The front bumpers however are a bit different on the 98 and up. The part where the headlight doors are shaped different as well as the hood so it wouldn't sit right. :( I had known of several people that have swapped front ends from a TA to a Firebird but from the same years...98 to 98-up....93-97.

Also for your honeycomb tailights......I did the same thing for my 94 Firebird and found them at on-line salvage yards for only $86 a piece!! Everywhere else wanted $120 and up! I ended up having to buy one from a place in Illinois and one in South Carolina :D Check out my 94 which was quite unique ;) http://www.geocities.com/pewter2kformula/My94.html

            Good luck with your mods

            -Michelle

The front end idea has been done before. I saw a 94 firebird on ebay with 98+ front end. I don't know if it bolted right on or what the deal was. Might call speedautomotive and ask them. they should know.

Thanks :D :D :D . I had my interior reupholstered. I also had the logo for the headrests embroidered special from a embroidery shop. I had a reddish burlappy kind of material and grey vinyl. Total cost...$700 for the upholstery...$150 for the shop to design the logo in the computer for emboridering. Sad to say the "Flamin' bird" is gone :( . I traded it in for the Formula. I really miss the bird because it was so custom and special.

Also last night I found this on LS1.com http://www.ls1.com/forums/ls1_forum_main.htm. Click on "showcar and detailing" then look for the subject/post "Some Pics of My Car" posted by 94-98 Trans Am. Its just what you were looking for :D

to put a t/a spoiler on, youll have to replace the entire hatch, to me.. i think that would be a little tooo costly to do

just out of curiosity....did you lose money when you traded your car in? because they're only gonna be able to sell it to another michelle with those seats....
