  • Gauges (help)

I recently bought some inverse gauges off of ebay..these ones here actually: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33675
anyway my problem is that when i pluck the gauges off and put my overlay on..the overlay sits too far out to actually put the gauges back on without popping off..or not moving at all. i did some searches and came up with no help. anyone?

I have a 93 firebird, same basic gauge and overlay. I took the needles off and glued the overlay on. I had problems keeping air out from under it which made the needles stick to it. Once I glued it down I didn't have a problem. Make sure you take care of the needles properly when removing them, if thats how you go about doing it.

if you are just going to take the needles off, turn the car off then mark where the needles are, then put them back in the same spots
