You do have to paint them. I don't think they sell them.

Just pull....shouldn't take more than that. I used the new Fusion Kyrlon paints that are meant and bond to plastic....they are great.

Ummmmmmmmm ... don't pull ... I listened to somebody on here and the first vent shattered into about 5 pieces!! Luckily my car is under warranty and well, the dealer took care of it.

Anyways, take alittle screwdriver and pry to top piece off on either side of the center bar. There are only two places (well three is you count the center) where the top piece is attached to the rest of the vent. After you get the top piece off, the you can take the same little screwdriver and pry out the vent plates.

These are a pain in the rear to sand and paint, unless my method is screwed up. And they are a pain to put back in. Oh, and if you break one, 16.50 a piece from the dealer. And the left is different from the (3) center which are different from the right.

Mine just popped right out. They have little clips that hold them in place. If yours dont come out, maybe gentle pressure with a screwdriver to push in the clips would pop them right out. I just sanded mine down a bit, primed and spraypainted mine. Takes maybe 10 minutes of actual work and like a few hours for drying between coats. Very easy and it looks very sharp.
