i got some new decals, the word firebird and the screamin' chicken that both go on the square part between the taillights
do i have to remove the old lettering and bird before i apply the new ones? the directions only had info on applying the decals, not removing the original lettering
Take out the whole black panel and get some 1500-2000 grit sandpaper and wet sand the old decal. Then use some 3M Rubbing Compund Fine Cut which you can get at walmart for $5, then apply that. Then just apply the new decal.

is there another way? this seems kind of complicated just for a decal...by the way what exactly is wet sanding?
p.s. what color did you paint your interior pieces? the air vents look really good

Thanks, Its not hard to do at all. takes mabey 15 min. All u need is the supplys. What i did was just wet the sand paper then start sanding it off. BTW, The vents are painted silver.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
