Hey Navy Blue- nice car. It's the same year and color as mine. Where did you get the new piece for the front that you painted blue? I've been looking all over for one that says "Camaro" but all I've found are the lame ones from RKSport that say their logo on the front. Also, until I do get my new front end piece, I was thinking about painting the plastic grill gloss black. Can this be done with a simple can of spraypaint and does it need like a finishing spray on it? Or would it be better to just take it somewhere?

I don't see why it can't be done just like the interior pieces. :D I think the stock piece sanded smooth and painted gloss black would look really great!
I really like SLP's grill but don't see paying $180 for it..... not yet at least. ;)

When you say the silver piece I guess you mean the black plastic piece. So, if that's what it looks like under the plastic piece and it's already painted, why are there some companies like suncoast creations and RKsport that sell a paintable metal piece like the one Navyblue has. Who would buy it if they already have it? It also looks like Navyblue painted his plastic piece silver like I want to paint mine gloss black. But does it really need to be sanded first? Just trying to be clear on this.

i would imagine you might want some kind of a plastic paint or something. or maybe some primer, paint, then clearcoat. mine didn't look THAT great in person, after a while it faded to more of a grey, but yeah, it would look good all shiny :D
