My tips are about 1 inch to the left and it drives me crazy. You can't really tell unless you really follow the lines of the car. My friends say it fine but I hate looking at it. I tryed moving them over a little but had no real luck. Do any of you you guys have this problem. I'm not asking for a fix I just would like to know who else has this problem and if it bugs you.

Your muffler is probably installed an inch to the left... if it's clamped on you can adjust it, if it's welded you could probably get a muffler shop to fix it, if it's worth the trouble.... Good luck. Well, its really not worth the trouble. I posted this to see if anyone had off center tips like me. Not really for a fix. Mine are off only about 1/2 an inch now that I look at it again. Nothing big. So, who's tips are off center?White 98 Camaro with t-tops leather and Y87. For more info on mods just ask.
1/4=14.9
2002 Xterra V6 A4

I had that problem too! It bugged me to death! I couldnt fix them cause they were wielded. Also, one stuck out a little further than the other. The guy at the shop said that he installed them a little off because the point that they are trained to line the tips up with is off a little on our car. I just took mine back to the shop and he fixed them for free.

The tips are off center cause the muffler shop uses factory measurements to bend the pipe from the muffler to the tips(Z28 measurments) They are off center because factory Z28 tips are the wide ones and for them to be center the pipes are not. DOn't know why they use these measurments, guess it just makes their job faster 97 Red Firebird
Best N/A 1/4: 13.98
Best N/A MPH: 96.13
Best Nitrous 1/4: 12.49
Best Nitrous MPH: 108.53
2001 Pewter Camaro SS
GTP Stage II Heads, Pig Cam, Holley Intake, SLP Headers, SLP Lid, Vigalante 3600 Stall Converter, MagnaFlow Cat Back Exhaust, Duel Electric Cut-Outs
11.26@121

mine are off center too. the one on the left is in a good spot, but the one on the right is too far to the center. i asked the guy about it and he said something about not having enough room. it doesn't look that bad.1998 Sport Metallic Gold Camaro
Current Mods
AIWA CD/MP3 player
Flowmaster exhaust
Dual 3.5\" chrome exhaust tips
Removed Front Grill
Functional RAM AIR, ss-style hood
Exhaust Cutout
Future Mods:
Leather Seats
Improved audio system
Different wheels
Indiglo gauges
http://hometown.aol.com/saturn2187/
