Hey man, i was just wondering where you got the pewter paint to paint your interior. Did you go to a shop and get them to make you some up in a spray bomb or what?, also did you use clear coat on it...can i just get the clear coat from like home depot or canadian tire or something like that? Also, can you use too much clear coat?

Yepper...I'm a gal ;) I used Duplicolor's Pewter in the 11 oz spray can. It's the same paint GM uses and you can buy it at Wal-Mart. The number is #408 Pewter. :D I also used their clear coat. You can use too much clear coat at least that's what the painter then did my flames told me. you get it too high so it chips easily.

Its ok :D I'll forgive ya this time. Yes sand down the pieces before you paint with 400 grit. You also might want to use an Adhesion Promoter also made by Duplicolor. I had some trouble with my door panels and the paint ended up coming off!!
 I had to redo the whole panel and used the promoter. That did the trick! Its specially for plastic/flexible pieces. Check out Dupilcolor's website about it. This was also recommended to me by the painter that did my flames.
