i clay-barred my windshield because after the last time it was in the shop it came back with slag in the windshield.
so i figured that if it works so well on paint why not. well it did work quite well but when the rain started today, my windsheld wipers wouldnt pull all the water off.
so i windexed, and rainXed the windshield and now the water comes off quite easily, but now it leaves a haze.

any ideas about what i can do now?? all i really want is a clean windshield that doesnt streak with the wipers on.

When I used rain-x I had the hardest time getting that stuff off completly, after applying it. That's what left a haze on mine. But after cleaning the windshield again with just water, and then cleaning the wiper blades too, the haze went away.

Why didn't you just use a razor blade? Or brillow pad your window instead of clay barring it?
