200+mph Gauges

red6 honestly i dont see the reasoning behind you thinking that a 200 MPH guage is "rice"
if you put it ina stock civic, then its rice, if you put it in a vehicle that will hit 200 i dont think its rice, do you consider a mclaren f1 rice? im sure it has a 200 MPH guage pod and i dont think its 'riced' out...but then again thats just me

also, when u were refering to him and his statement about '94 3.8' he was reffering to 94-3.4, probably just a typo, damn some people are way to critical of others

boy some people seem to get a lot of **** over their cars here. Actually let me clarify here a little. Boost simulates compression to an extent, and nitrous loves compression so it is easy to use both. Hey dude e-mail me and we will talk, most of the people here have little to no clue about what they are talking about anyway. I'll give you some insight into my ideas ;)

Most people on this board act closed minded especially since they are scared that somebody may actually do it someday. oh and FYI there was a post in the lounge 3-6 months ago abut a highly modified GTP breaking 200 mph and guess what it has the same 3800 series 2 that we all do

to go 200mph im saying you would have to have ummmmmmm atleast 600 hp min (kinda has been proven)

your saying im getting forged and what not ok yea i agree 18lbs of boost on probly race gas hell most GN's that are drivin on the street only run 15 on pump gas but well say 18lbs on pump gas maybe you dont understand what a 200 shot of nitrous will do but hell people that are going the nitrous way with forged **** arnt talking about more then a 200 shot of just gas basily the 18lbs is equall to probly 180 shot so what those same nitrous people can run a 400 shot? is that what your saying? hell I dont really know of to many V8's with a 400+ shot yes I know they exist but for a street car ummmm not really


hell Hennasy motorsports has a twin turbo viper pushing a litle over 1000 hp but hes only spraying something like a 75 shot I belive and im sure hes probly not boosting 18lbs and thats a big *** v10 not a little old v6

Jason you crack me up dude. The 18 pounds of boost will be controlled for street and race use. and on top of that, a supercharger creates compression right? right. and lets take a little lesson here. What does nitrous love? good job jason. COMPRESSION. What are they going to do together jason? They are going to love each other because one makes compression one feeds like a pig on compression. Congrats you answered all the above questions right.

Ok enough of teaching you.

For everyone else to read. I found a 200 mile per hour speedometer in Jegs today when i was looking throught it. Its like 190 bucks but hey i have to know how fast im going right. Anyways if yall find anymore keep me advised. Thanks

umm your missing one big point ummm to much compression you think 18lbs of boost isnt alot of pressure? or a 200 shot? i wanna see you put a 200 shot on your car right now and see how many passes you can make before something breaks how is it people with more expeiance say it cant be done im not saying 18lbs and say a 50 shot cant be done but a 200 shot bigggggggggg diffrence big diffrence but hey if you do it ill give you props

hey man I hope you can hit 200 or even get close to it but why you going with 3.73 gears. Thats kinda killing you're top speed dream. You need to be thinkin of a smaller gear for high speed. maybe you've thought further into this than me but thats my thoughts.
