I'm kinda contemplating of getting the headlight conversion kit for my car so I can use the Ultra-white bulbs. AutoOptiks makes the conversion kit for my car. Has anyone had any experience with them? Are their products good quality?
Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
Yes. You have to trim your retainer ring that holds the headlight in place. Take a file or a dremel and shave about 1-2mm off the inner part of the ring on the left and right sides. If you don't, the glass will bust when it gets hot. I know because I did this to mine and had to get another set. I trimmed the ring and it hasn't broke, I have had them for about 6 months now. Also don't buy the bulbs they sell because they are not that good, the salesperson even told me that. I bought a set of 85w low beam and 100w high beam xenon hyper white bulbs and they are as bright as hell.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
