ok, well i didnt like the way the stock plastic mount rubbed against the paint on the car or stuck out the way it did and ruined the lines of the front. i decided to try to make my own front bracket for the car using the holes that were allready drilled in the front. i took some old somewhat thick aluminum, cut two rectangles about 2 inches by 3 inches, drilled two holes in each, one for the mount to the car, and the other for the plate, bent it to the right angle, and here are the results... (oh yeah, i also stuck some foam to the back of the plate so that it would not scrape against the paint on the bottom)

yeah, id like to also. but i just got a ticket the other day, so i think its time to put it back on

how long did you go w/o the plates?

i didnt get a ticket for no plate. its a 55 dollar ticket here
i was in my dads taurus when i got the ticket, but i know if i were in my car i'd have had that on top of it. not really worth the risk to me. i dont make enough money.
edit: i dunno... looking at those pics, it seems sort of off looking cause i bent it to go with the contours of the car. i think that might be what was sort of off with it, i just went out and bent it straight. looks better. i just hate that big plastic thing that i used to use.
