wouldnt you be better without a bra, not you the car, because if sand or any small grains get caught under the bra it would be like sandpaper and your finished would be screwed. Is this true? Thats wh i have never used one.

I've got my bra because I'm tired of repainting it. It's cashed from all my chips. I don't even take it off anymore to wash under it. What wants to stay under there stays under there. ( OK I wash under it maybe once a month)
I've never seen a Bra for a 98+ Firebird. You know they gotta be out there....Just gotta find that place. go to LeBra's webpage and see if they have a model # for a firebird. If they do JC Whitney may carry it. www.jcwhitneyusa.com
Hope this helps

I am getting so tired of rock chips and bug splats.
Any ideas where I can get a good quality bra without going to the Pontiac dealer?

The only bra worth buying is a colgan bra. I have one that I use it on my WS6 when I go out of town or go visit my parents. It has a soft backing so as to not scratch your paint and even the clamps are covered. I cant remember the site where you can buy one. I ordered mine through a local place in San Diego. It cost more than the regular bras but you get what you pay for. All the other bras I have seen dont fit as tight or have a rough backing so they flap when you drive and scracth up your car. or allow dirt to get underneath them and also scratch your car. I've had this bra since two days after I bought my car so it lasta long time, if taken care of. It hasnt shrank. I got caught in a heavy rain, or cracked or peeled. It fairly easy to clean. I use a wet wash cloth and then apply some silicon free protectant. It has nice headlight covers that dont get in the way of your lights goign up or donw and you can order some optional mirror bras . I'll se if I can find the site where you can order it online or just email you the number so you can order it directly from them. Oh yeah it takes about 2 minutes to put on or take off.

Don't put one on.... it makes the problem worse. I used one to protect it from rock chips, and what happened is sand and sh*t got underneath it and made the problem worse.. much worse.
Women who don't wear bras will eventually get a case of the droopy boobies as seen on National Geographic. We don't want that, now do we?
If you want to keep 'em round and juicy, you have to wear a bra to support them. 'Nuff said.
Thanks for all the posts. I think I'll keep my car bra-free. Scratches are worse than rock chips, and I figure it would be easier to touch up rock chips than scratches and rub marks on the clearcoat. White is such an easy color for touch-ups.
