NOT impressed with Zaino

I use Meguires 3 step system but I replace the carnuba (sp?) wax with Meguirs Gold. It works great, but the paint polish pisses me off! Living in Florida I have a carport and one side of my car is in the sun! :mad: The polish dries on like on 3 minutes and leaves streaks and wont come off until i wash my car. :mad: :mad: Tomorrow after church im gonna hang a big blanket on the side of the carport and try that. I want to try Zaino but Im poor. [img]graemlins/crybaby.gif[/img]

Actually the clearcoat requires waxing to stay fresh, clean, and new looking. Wax does improve the look of a new car, ask anyone - my car looks 20-50x better than any car on the lot of a dealership.

Ive used Zaino and I wasnt very impressed either. Everyone says "use several coats and you will see a difference." Wouldnt that be the same for any wax if you used several coats lol

i got turtle wax for like 6 dollars and it turned out great. Really shiney and smooth. ;)

I will swear by me Meguiers Gold Class.. Unbelievable Finish.. I could actually see ants in the grass next to my car.... From the Reflection OF my car... LOL My car is only about 8 months old, but it NEVER has shined like that before.. Every other week, I put a coat of Gold Class on her.. AMAZING...

I use to use Liquid Glass.. It lasts a LONG time.. The shine just doesn't last as long as I would like.. The water Beading stays a long *** time though.. Liquid Glass is a little different.. They want you to do it in the sun.. No clue why.. Hmm...

If it is good enough for Meguiars, it is good enough for me.. [img]smile.gif[/img] :D :D :D

That's exactly what I do! Except here the sun isn't as hot as it is down south! I usually park it up on the lawn under a tree to wax...

I did zaino this weekend and to say the least I was very disappointed. I thought that the swirl mark remover broght out the swirl marks instead of hiding them. I also just read on C28.com zaino is the same stuff as duragloss.....

I had the same problem. It is very important that you use a high quality cotton cloth. It makes all the difference. The finish will only be as smooth as the cloth you wipe it with. Remember, not everything that says 100% cotton is actually that.

Urban legend, and simply not true. Same bottles, but besides that, the only thing they have in common is the fact that they are both polishes.

Ok i had BAD swirl marks on my hood...i mean BAD!

I got some GS27 scratch remover....put that on an WAH-LAH! After two coats of GS27 the swirls were gone!

Finish that off with a coat of Meguires Gold Class and the hood is lookin great!
