does your hood vibrate-bounce-look like it wants to fly off when you are driving down the road? i swear mine looks like it wants to break off any minute when i am cruising the hwy.
6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

I'd say right at the scoop part it vibrates a little bit if im driving on the highway but it doesn't look like its going to fly off. I had the dealership install mine though...

install was a snap. i know i tightened the bolts down. there are only 4 of them. the hood feels solid when parked and i check it, but on the road it sure is a shaker.

have you tried adjusting the "hood snubbers". you know the little spring looking things with the rubber snubber on the top of them? You can turn them to raise them so it touches the underside of the hood when it's latched. It just puts a little tension on the latch and also lines up the hood to fender. If they're not touching the hood, the latch is all that's making contact witht the hood and of course a little wind coming from the underside of the hood is going to make it rock back and forth on the latch. I hope I'm making sense, those little things are hard to explain. Pop your hood and you'll see them towards the front crossmember on the left and right. Just unscrew them until the hood rests on them when it's closed. If you have to unscrew them to the point of them almost falling out, put a dab of JBweld on them to keep them in place. Problem solved.... ;)
