• windshield scratch...

Well, my wiper kept falling off and now there is a scratch in my windshield. It's not that deep, my finger goes over it without getting caught, but it looks bad. Is there anything i can buy to fix it? thanks

Hey, what kind of drop does the Camaro in the webshots photo album have. I have no idea about your question. I'd like to know the answer too, my driver side window is scratched. The Camaro looks really good, it looks alot better with the SS spoiler.

no it cant be fixed if its a scratch unless they replace the whole windshield. i called around to many autoglass people that claim they can 'fix glass' but they said they cannot fix scratches only chips from rocks.. WTF?? chips are bigger, but yeah they said no they cannot fix it, just get a new windshield

Are you sure it's a real "scratch", it may be something like it and you can get rid of it. My wiper went nuts and I had the same thing happen and I used some Finger nail polish remover and it took care of it. Any acetone remover should do the trick, if it's what I had on mine. Make sure you don't get it on the paint, cause it will eat your fuggin' car up. Hope you had the occurence I did rather than paying $$$$for another shield

not sure, but when i wash my car or clean the windshield with my new wiper blades, it goes away, but as soon as it dries up, it turns white again.

But let me try the nail polish remover, i hope it works, thanks guys!

I just hope something helps you man. Be warned of the distortion though. If glass is polished too much, you'll start to see everything behind that spot much differently than it really is.
