  • touching up paint?

So I have all the average little hood dings from driving on the freeway and then I have a bigger spot on my rear bumper from where I backed into my friends deck (the thing sits way out there and didnt notice it til it was too late) so i decided I'm gonna get some touch up paint for the hood atleast.

My problem is im kinda iffy on which paint to get. I think the code for mine is U8774 and http://www.paintscratch.com/cgi-bin/makepaint2.cgi has that code which is red like my car but it looks darker than my paint. Maybe I'm just crazy but is this the right color.

Pics of my car are in my sig.

The correct code should be on the sticker on your door or in your glove box if that isn't where you got it from. Paint Scratch has matched the two colors I ordered from them well. They also ask for a vin number to make sure it matches the factory paint.

The problem is with a color like red and your car being a 93 its entirely possible that your paint has faded. So the paint they mix may be darker than the actual color on your car.

      Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
      By: Hib Halverson

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
