  • Bye Bye Birdie :(

The bird is parked for winter...

my step-dad won't let me store it in the garage for the winter, so I cleaned it, wiped down the rims and parked it.

Is there anything I can do to protect the paint or what ever else can be effected from the winter?

I was thinking about buying a car cover, is it worth spending the $ for one?

If I were you, Id invest in a really good cover like the ones from rksport or something. They're made of a different material than the ones at autozone and walmart and have different layers that will actually protect your car better.

If you are going to get a cover get a nice one. Cheap ones don't protect well and are more likely to scratch the paint.

I have a cheap (wallmart) car cover on my car, but it's in a climate-controlled garage and see's no weather conditions. My advice, get a good cover! It's one of the best investments for any respected car.

I bought one for 70 bucks.. it says it is water repellent made out of soft abrasion-resistant material, breatheable, UV treated, and it protects from dust and dirt

I cleaned off my car dried it and threw it over it.
