yeah jsut use a simple applicator pad to put the wax on then a microfiber towel to take it off...thats what i use and it always works well. and as far as waxing and claying the stripes...it definitely makes them a lot smoother...after i read the above post i had to go and see and i felt mine and they were jsut liek the rest of the car...smooth as glass.

DO NOT WAX VINYL STRIPES EVER!!!
look at the back of the gold class bottle, notice the "DO NOT APPLY TO VINYL OR PLASTIC"
the makeup of the wax will stain your stripes permanently, i just took mine off and this was one of the reasons
use meguiars vinyl shine/protectant, this is the best
once again DO NOT EVER WAX VINYL STRIPES, always use a vinyl protectant, i just hope this got to you in timeComment

Yah, I havn't waxed them yet. Thanx for the tip. This is what I was looking for, but it sounded like everyone else waxed their stripes. I guess I wont take the risk. and just FYI, i recommend a rubber tipped detail brush so you get the excess dried wax from the edges of the stripes
take my word for it, if you let it build up over time, it is a bear to get off in the endComment
