hey, i have a power steering leak. i put it on the lift at auto class but it was so dirty under there that we couldnt tell what was leaking. so i took it with my ramps to the car wash, while putting the car on the ramps i hit it with a little too much speed. i went off the far side of the ramps and the ramps hit under the car right behind the tires. the bottom of the fender is attached to that little plastic piece that says do not jack here. The bottom of the fender got horribly bent and now both fenders are way out of alignment with the doors. anyone had this happen? and can i just bend the bottom so that it realigns? I NEED ANSWERS QUICK PLEASE! thanks

Damn that reallly sucks man.....I had a similar case when I had a ball joint pop...anyway the tow truck guy pulls it on the flat bed and when hes letting it down at the shop....the dumb@ss starts bending my fender since the wheel is only connected by the upper A-arm.....I can see the fender bending and I yell at him to stop.....he got pissed and said its broken and this is what happens when things break so I said well ur not gonna ruin my car to save you time....we ended up bolting the stripped ball joint on and changing it on with the spare...it held and we released it. You can barealy notice the bend no one has ever noticed it but me ... Im not sure if you can bend them back...fenders are about 157 a piece....Good luck1996 Firebird-Y87:SLP Cold Air Intake,Y87 Perf. Anyhow, if you want to ghetto it, try using pliers or a dent puller and re-shape the fenders.
If you want it done correctly, either pull both fenders and hammer the dents out or just replace them.sigpic
