I've scrubbed the **** out of my window trying to remove the numbers that were put on it at the strip.. but i can't get the last of them off. I've been using windex, what else can i try to remove these numbers without scratching anything
The numbers are on the rear window towards the front:
razor blade? just scrape gently. when i got my car, it had all the specs on it ( 1998,41K miles, ect ) and thats what i had to get it off. might be the same stuff.

or sticker decals.. ;) Don't know what kind of shoe polish they used.. but it looks potent. Super Clean will take care of that. Spray it on a rag first then wipe. Get some nice custom numbers made or get the package of letters/numbers from an auto parts store for the next outing.
rubbing alcohol, and a papertowel something that is somewhat course helps.
Also a do-it-yourself carwash with pressure washing is good too.

You let it hit the sun the next day and its really a ***** to remove.
Honetly if any of you go to the track often do not use it. get magnets. my old car my glass ended up getting all scratched up, and I had little white flakes in my weatherstripping all over.

Before you use a razor blade like everyone said and scratch the $hit out of you're window, buy Goo Gone it's not too expensive it should remove that, also removes severe bug stains and tree sap/tar.
Good luck with that.
you hold the razor blade almost flat. it doesnt scratch the window at all. try rubbing alcohol if you dont wonna use a razor blade. but i would just use a razor blade

i've been scrubbing thehell out of it with windex and i removed the numebrs on the front of my car completly, but the back one won't come all the way off. I will try dabbing rubbing alcohol on a rag and using that, if that doesn't work i will move onto the razor blade.. thanks for the help
