    anyone have before and after pics of their camaro/bird with the silverstar bulbs? thiking of grabbing a pair of them and was looking for some pics to decide...also, better visibility than stockers? just curious. thanks,.

    silverstars are very white and look nice. Are they worth the $? who knows - I like mine though!

      I've had silverstars for about 8 months now. Definately an improvement over the standard halogens. The road is clearer, and distance is improved slightly; perhaps 60 feet or so.

      My only hangup with them is lifetime. I've replaced my low beams twice already. They seem to last about 4 months before they piss out.

      But worth it? I think so.
      2001 Camaro, 3.8 v6. Five speed. Red. SLP Torque arm, SLP CAI, adj. panhard bar, lcas, eibach springs, 3.73 gears and Zexel-Torsen T-2 LSD.

        anyone else have short lifespan issues with these? no one has before or after pics? ... much appreciation

          Yeah, mine always died quick but I would just take them back to advance auto and they would do a defective exchange for me.

            well what other bright bulbs are there? that dont die in a few months

              Same short life problem here. Checker will replace within the first 30 days, however.

                  At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
                  Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
