  • Has anyone ever taken off their mirrors?

I'm looking to eventually replace the mirrors on my camaro and xtreme blazer with the ones that have the led turn signal on them. I was just curious if anyone has ever taken off their stock mirrors, if so whats the process? Has anyone replaced their mirrors with aftermarketones?

I've taken off my mirrors before, its really very simple. There's a screw that holds a plastic peice on the inside of the car. Take out that screw, the plastic plate comes off, there will be 3 nuts. Take off the nuts, the studs are connected to the mirror. Slide the mirror out. Done.

EDIT: I can take pictures if you need them.
