people with pewter cars step in

hey guys i am just wondering since it has been raining like everyday here i notice that like my front bumper looks a lil darker than the side fenders on my car, i dunno , i was in an accident but the fenders and bumper were replaced. anyone know what i am talkin about?

No my fender looks like the same color. But it could be the garage lighting. But i havent noticed anything before so it might be the new paint being a little darker than the original paint. Remember the sun might have faded the color out alittle.

in that picture, it almost seems like the sunlight is hitting the top at the fender more than the bumper since its on bottom and might be angled down a bit differently. try taking a flashlight/or a flourescent light might work better. shine it right where the two panels meet so theyre both getting the same amount of light, and see if you can see a difference then.

MINE DOES that too sometimes, It is just the color of the car, in certian lighting conditions. I always thought it was becuase the fender and front bumper are made of two different materials.

If you were in an accident and got it repainted. It mostly like is the paint not matching. Is it just on the picture. Of is it like night and day when you look at it? If it is, go back to the bodyshop and tell them the paint doesnt match.

Speaking of pewter cars, what color do you guys/gals reccomend for the calpiers and brake drums?

i know i know, my car is not pewter it was red (and now is totalled as of tuesday when some dumb *** rear ended me) anyway, down to the point, my front bumper is different color then the fenders and its been waxed every month and everything since the day it was purchased.... i think it has to do w/ the materials (i have a camaro btw, not a bird)
