the tire guy where i got my new tires told me i had about 5 months of wear left on the before i would have to start looking for new tires, that is with my driving style, lots of corner carving and lots of long distance driving everyday... the tires will last you at least 4 months though, i have a penny test shot if you are interested. ur gf not like the rim design or the price or what?
800 is a price that you would pay for POLISHed new c5s without tires... so i would say that this is a great deal since your basically getting tires for free and a chrome finish for no extra than a polished one would cost!!! ok yea there is some damage to the lip but its hardly noticeable. i have had not a single person tell me that i have curb rash.. its from a slightly increased section on the street that i hit when parking.. it was JUST barely higher than my tire, so it scuffed up that lip.. anyways...

thats cool, i found someone to take them, so im going to drive down and meet him saturday. i think his name on here is flamespike, he was helping me get people to post sound clips in the exhaust forum, but SOMEONE never sticky'd my thread and now its gone from view.. poor n00bs, if only i got a sticky... iF ONLY..

I had the privledge of meeting Hawk in person, and i must say he (and his freinds) are really stand up cool group of guys.
the pics you see of his car truley do it no justice whatsoever. i saw it and had to hold back from splooging all over myself.
It was definatley worth the 2 hour trip to meet him. Thanks again for great deal, and for letting me get wood from your car.I will take on all comers...or come on all takers!!! Whichever you prefer.Comment
